Davies is one of Fargo’s newest neighborhoods – it gets its name from Davies High School, which opened in 2011. The school is named after Judge Ronald Davies, who played a prominent role in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. The neighborhood is developing as primarily single-family residential. Eagle Valley, Eagle Pointe, Golden Valley, and Crofton Coves are the main subdivisions within the Davies neighborhood. A large water retention pond in Eagle Pointe will offer some neighborhood amenities such as kayaking and fishing. There are a number of pre-existing and new construction homes in the Davies neighborhood. Just to the south of the Davies neighborhood is Round Hill and to the east is Briarwood.
In the past year there were 32 homes sold in the Davies neighborhood with a median sales price of $350,000.
